What is it?
Extend Grace Day is a church-wide outreach and service activity that is open to all attendees, friends and families of Grace Church Roseville. Each event is a one-time commitment for 3-4 hours of volunteer service as we do random acts of kindness or assist a local non-profit organization in the Twin Cities.

Why are we doing it?
As a church we want to love people and our community the way that Jesus did through what we say and what we do. We all have the opportunity to share the relevance and reality of Jesus Christ through random acts of kindness and volunteer service.

When is it?
Extend Grace Day outreach opportunities are scheduled from 8:30am - 12:30pm on selected Saturdays throughout the year. Just show up here at Grace at 8:30 am on the next scheduled date.

What do we want to achieve as a church through Extend Grace?

• We want to instill an outreach-focused culture within Grace Church Roseville by providing easy "on ramps" for service and community involvement.
• We want to provide opportunities for GCR families, small groups, and invited friends to serve God and our community together.
• We want to strengthen relationships between Grace Church attenders and our community at large.
• We want to minimize the common obstacles to serving, including:

a) Time limitations - Extend Grace provides a specific and predictable 3-4 hour time frame for service.
b) Limited availability - Extend Grace is offered several times per year so that attendees have choices. People can participate as often as they choose and as their schedules allow.
c) Lack of opportunities for families - Extend Grace provides many service projects that are family-friendly, allowing families to serve together.
d) Lack of impact - Extend Grace provides meaningful projects for the participants, so that they are able to experience value and personal satisfaction for their time invested in service.
